ive been loving glitter eye looks recently. I’ve been wanting one of the urban decay heavy metals liners for such a long time and I finally decided to purchase it. I chose the shade ‘junkshow’ a super sparkly rose pink. This week I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the product ☆ packagingthe first thing I noticed was how luxurious this product felt packaging wise. The shape is super sleek and would be a lovely display product. The lid feels like metal ( I’m not sure if it is or isn’t) but It certainly makes this eyeliner feel very good quality compared to alternatives. The embossed UD logo on the top again adds that little something extra. The box the liner comes in has a glittery strip showing which shade it is and I love this extra touch as no one can ever have too much glitter! shadethe shade ‘junkshow’ is a gorgeous pink. I chose It as I love the multi dimensional glitter pieces within it. I tend to stick to warm tones on my eyes and felt a pink shade would tie in very well. The only other brand that does liquid glitter liners that I know of is collection. They do not have a dupe for junkshow whereas they do for the gold and silver shades. This was also an influence in my choice of which shade to buy - considering I loved them all! I think this will look lovely in all seasons and is a really versatile shade. application & wearthe most important part is how the product applies and lasts on the eyes. Firstly taking the applicatior I really love how thin and tapered the brush is. Using a loose glitter and brush can be very messy and hard to get a precise application. Having such a thin tip means you can create cut crease looks or line above your eyeliner. It’s also equally as easy to fully cover the lid with the flat side of the brush. I really like how this liner dries very quickly as there’s nothing worse than trying to hold your eye open to avoid smudging! With other glitter liners I’ve realised that after time they dryout and begin to flake off. Luckily I have not experienced this yet. This could be due to the added peach and cucumber extracts making it a more moisturising formula. ♡ i can’t wait to experiment more with this product - so many different looks could be created. I am really pleased with the quality of it and would love to try some of their other shades. If you have tried this glitter liner let me know your thoughts ☆ Zoë x
