beauty products and summer weather aren't the best of matches. I find it hard to find the right products that I know will get me through my travels without costing too much! Here's my top picks for travel beauty products that have helped me survive the heat. ☼ Bath & body works: pocketbacs.airport toilets, shuttle bus handles & just being sat on a plane for multiple hours can make you feel a little unclean. Bath and body works antibacterial hand gels are the perfect thing to pop in your bag to use to freshen up. They're very small and compact meaning you can take them through your hand luggage. They're also great for around the pool/beach and help remove the greasy feeling left from applying suncream. My top summer scents have been: Copacabana coconut & I ♡ the beach suntan. These have defiantly been an essential on my travels. garnier BB cream.i would love to be able my to wear a base product whilst away but I don't feel confident enough with my skin to do so yet. Something light is what I needed and this garnier BB Cream did the job. It's a very runny formula that's like a tinted moisturiser. It blends so well and covers any blemishes whilst maintains it's lightweight texture. This BB cream isn't sticky and doesn't sweat off. I used the formula for oily / combination skin which reduced how oily my skin felt in the sun. It also contains spf which is a great bonus. My only complaint is that there is a very limited shade range (light/medium/dark) but for a short trip it's the perfect thing to use if you want a bit of coverage. Waterproof mascara.the waterproof mascara I took away was the funnel wonder'full argan oil mascara. I do regret this decision on terms of what mascara I chose but I'm still so glad I took a mascara that's waterproof! Having blonde hair my eyelashes are very light so I prefer to wear mascara to make them stand out. A waterproof mascara was an essential for around the pool/ beach. This particular mascara is not one I would consider repurchasing but I suppose it did the job. The positives of this product are: •the lovely packing - it's a gorgeous metallic blue ☆ •the added Argan oil - my lashes do feel softer and less brittle. However: •it's incredibly messy to apply due to the moving wand tip and added oil - one move and it's all over your eyelid. • it's not lengthening or volumising - just adds colour to your lashes. Despite not loving this mascara I would still say a waterproof one is on my essentials list. ☆ Urban decay beached bronzer.Firstly how beautiful is the packing! This is probably my favourite bronzer. It's so silky and smooth. It has a buttery texture that blends so well. I used it on an evening and it helped Bronze up my skin to match the rest of my tan. I used the shade 'sun kissed' which was the perfect shade & very buildsble without looking too heavy or streaky. It's a matte formula meaning it maintains a natural look, something I personally prefer. I'd defiantly reccomend this bronzer for the summertime. malibu spf lipbalms.protecing your lips from the sun will recent Chaplin get & dryness as well as outbreaks of cold sores and general damage. These lips balms from Malibu contain spf 30 and I used them multiple times daily. I got a pack of 3 (watermelon , tropical and vanilla) from tk maxx for £1.99. This is so affordable and they did the job perfectly. They're not greasy and sticky and smell amazing too! They're so easy to slip into your bag and apply throughout the day. cHina glaze flip flop fantasy.this is my ultimate holiday nail polish. It's the perfect summer coral and looks so nice with a tan. It's a matte formula meaning if you want it matte you don't need a matte topcoat but you can always add regular top coat for a shiny finish if you prefer. This colour will always bea firm favourite of mine. ♡ I hope this list has been useful for anyone preparing to go away ☼
