23/2/2019 0 Comments The february editFebruary seems to have gone by so fast, probably due to the fact that it’s only 28 days! But even in a shorter space of time, I’ve still found myself discovering a lot of new favourite products! This month I have a real mix of beauty, skincare, haircare and perfume - read on to find out what’s filled my February with joy! sorrento lemon perfumei went to sorrento last summer, and I was on a mission to find a lemon perfume, which actually proved to be much harder than expected, considering sorrento is famous for lemons! However I managed to find this one, and I’ve been using it again recently, it’s fast becoming a firm favourite of mine, which is a problem as I only bought the one! It’s the most refreshing, uplifting fragrance, that smells of pure natural lemons 🍋 I’m so surprised by its staying power - it lasts for hours on the skin - it’s so nice catching a whiff of lemon throughout the day! yves rocher almond orange blossom Shower gelat Christmas, I was lucky enough to receive quite a few yves rocher shower gels! This month I’ve been using the almond orange blossom scent, and I’ve fallen in love with it’s super chic fragrance! It’s a very Sophisticated scent, that has both citrus and floral notes. It leaves the skin feeling soft and smelling amazing! The packaging is also so pretty! Ion defiantly going to look into what Leeds they do in this scent. ❀ OmorOvicza queen of hungary misti was kindly sent this by look fantastic a few months ago, and I’ve really gotten into using it recently! The queen of Hungary mist, is a very luxurious face mist, inspired by the worlds first recorded perfume in the 14th century. It’s great for purifying, moisturising and toning, helping to balance and refresh the skin. I’ve been using it either under or over my makeup, in the morning, and I’ve really noticed a boost in my skins hydration and overall feel. It’s lightly scented with rose, and orange blossom & helps to keep the skin healthy. I’d defiantly reccomend! charles Worthington toning violet moussei know this product won’t be for everyone, but if you have blonde hair, natural or dyed, I’d really reccomend this toning mousse! I’ve been trying to lighten my natural blonde hair, without dying it, and have been looking to purple shampoos to do so. I found there was only a limit to how far they would go, so bought this purple mousse to try and push it a little further. I’ve defiantly noticed my hair has lightened and any brassy tones are neutralised! Being a mousse I was worried it would create a undesirable texture to my hair, but it’s actually so unbelievably lightweight, you can’t even tell you have any product in your hair! eve lom cleansing balmif you’re big into skincare, you’ve probably heard of this cleansing balm! It’s formulated with many natural oils, such as clove & eucalyptus oil, which help to clear the skin for blemishes and toxins. It smells amazing, so natural and luxurious! I’ve been using it in a double cleanse routine, in specific, following makeup removal, with micellar water, before I go in the shower, I will apply a little of this, massage it in, and then rinse off when showering. I’ve found it really helps get rid of any final traces of dirt and makeup, and softens my skin so much! It’s suitable for all skin types, so I’d reccomend to anyone who wants to add an extra step to their skincare routine! dior Forever foundationfinally a beauty item - the new dior forever foundation. I only have a sample, but have loved using it this month! I never really switch up my foundation, as I know I love the revlon colourstay, but why could say no to trying dior!? I love the shade (2N) which matches my skin perfectly, and it’s too pink toned which I hate. It blends really smoothly, and doesn’t oxodise throughout that day.i have the matte finish, and I found it lasted all day without any shine or signs of wearing off! This is something I really value in a foundation, so if you can get yourself a sample too, then defiantly try it out! id love to hear what products you’ve been loving this month, or if you’ve tried any of my favourites!
Have a good week, Zoë x
