10/6/2018 0 Comments The aromatherapy editive really been getting into natural beauty / skincare products recently, which has lead me to discover the world of aromatherapy & essential oils. This comes in many forms - from skincare oils to pillow mists & roller balls. In this post I’ll share my top aromatherapy products. ☆ ↷ pillow mistsprobably my favourite category of aromatherapy products is pillow mists. Different blends of essential oils provide different remedies for sleep & well being. I picked up this set of 4 pillow mists from tk maxx for £5.99 from the brand Asquith & Somerset. In the set you get: •patchouli detox •lavender relax •lemon grass revive • tea tree soothe I’ve found the lavender spray particularly good at helping me sleep- all through the power of natural oils & scent. A quick spritz on the pillow really does help to relax your mind which in turn makes getting to sleep easier! The mists are also great for the skin eg - the tea tree one helps soothe acne giving the products double purpose ☆ facial spraysEssential oils have become really popular in skincare products recently - esoecially facial sprays. For some reason I just really take a liking to spray products so I’ve been all about this facial mist trend! I much prefer knowing I’m putting natural products into my skin compared to chemicals. That’s why I’ve been loving DA apothecarys moonstone face & body mist made with simply lavender floral water & moonstone crystals. I have also been using vitamin sea beauty’s sea buckthorn rose facial mist as a primer before makeup. ♡ neomneom is THE place to be for aromatherapy type products. Even just walking past their shop changes my energy! Neom products are 100% natural and organic. They categorise their products into 5 wellbeing categories - • sleep • de stress •energy boost •happiness •calm & relax Neom offer so many products such as candles, body oils, balms & room sprays to name a few. As they’re 100% organic they aren’t the cheapest (but are worth the money!) which is why I’d recommend the scent discovery test kit. In this you get 4 mini bottles of neom fragrance which you inhale. As the scent travels to the brain hormones are released controlling how you feel your brain is most attracted to the scent that it needs - which you then spin around and it tell you which caragory it’s from! I think this is such a good concept and I like to use the oils on pulse points in order not to waste them ❀ Skincare oilssomethingrelatively new to my routine is facial oils.admittedly not for all skin types in it’s neat form, but great to add into moisturiser I’ve loved using them to incorporate the added benefits of the essential oils they’re made with, into my skincare routine. What’s more facial oil packaging always seems to be so aesthetic which means I have no choice but to buy them anyway! This rosehip oil from measurable difference is so pretty as it has dried rose buds within it, as well as being great at evening skin tone & texture and reducing redness. ❀ rollersAnd finally probably the most well know form of aromatherapy for the body is roller balls. You can get many different types - here I have the revitalising lemon & rosemary one from boots along with the calming lavender pulse point gel. They’re so easy to use - you simply roll onto the pulse points - temples, wrists etc and let them do their magic. ☆ I found these great to use before exams and i think they do actually help relieve stress and tension! im sure there’s much more for me to discover in the world of natural oils - do you have any recommendations? Let me know!
