22/4/2018 0 Comments The april editthis April has been a funny one - we’ve had temperatures at both ends of the scale so it’s been hard to know which way to turn! Thankfully spring has made a (brief) appearance meaning I can use some new products I’ve been saving - some of which feature in this months favourites ↷♡ barry m Pink lEmonAde / primark lilAc dream nail polishI love it when the sun comes out & you can use your more colourful nail polishes! It just really brightens up your whole look. My most used shades this month have been Barry m’s pink lemonade - a lovely millennial pink with a gorgeous glossy texture. It’s pink but not PINK. And in your face. I’d say it’s a much more sophisticated spring shade but maintains youthfulness & delicacy. I’ve also been loving lilac details so picked up this primark nail polish for 90p in the shade Lilac dream. As you can see it’s such a pretty pastel shade and is such good quality! I feel primark beauty has a certain stigma but I love their nail products and this is just as good if not better than some of the higher end nail products I own. ☆ Nuxe dry oilat the beginning of this month I decided to really up my skincare routine in hope of clearing up problem patches and just simply improving my skin overall. I also decided to go with more natural products as I truely believe natural skincare is the way forwards! I’ve been using Nuxes dry oil on my face on nights where I feel I need a moisture injection. It’s dry oil formula makes it non greasy and it sinks into the skin so easily. It has the most dreamy scent and has truely made my skin feel so soft & improved its texture too ☆ I really recommend. BenefiT bad gal bang mascarabenefit sent me out their bad gal bang mascara at the beginning of the month and I have not gone a day without it since! I’ve created a full in depth review so head to my review section if you want to read my full thoughts ☆ it’s such an all rounder mascara - it lengthens, volumises and curls - and you can get away with only 1 coat! Thanks to benefit my lashes have been out of this world ☆ jade rollerAs I mentioned I’ve been using natural skincare products and this jade roller has been the perfect tool to help me apply them. (And it looks super pretty too!) the natural properties of the stone help calm & brighten the skin as well as helping to push the product deeper into the skins surface. As 2 minute session daily has really boosted the appearance & texture of my skin ♡ defiantly a new essential product. & other stories fig fiction Body scrubfinally this month I’ve been loving the & other stories fig fiction body scrub. It’s such a lovely fruity yet sophisticated scent that reminds me of Italy & summer ☼ the combination of plum currants, pink peppercorn & ripe fig make this the perfect spring treat for your body. Being a sugar scrub it’s a lovely thick consistency that you can really work into the skin & feel it working to remove any dead skin cells. What’s more if you return empty & other stories packaging to stores you get 10% off so it’s a win win situation! hsve you tried any of these products? What have your favourites been this month? ❀
Have a good week Zoë x
