im pretty new to the whole sheet mask thing, as 99% of my face mask collection is the traditional format. However I think sheet masks are the future for me in terms of skincare as they’re so much quicker & easier to use! I had this radience boosting mask from a soap & glory set I had & decided to test out and review ☆ the mask claims to be a brightening & radience boosting mask for ‘dull & laclustre’ skin. It’s full of vitamin c along with white flower brightening complex, lotus flower, cherry blossom & rooibos tea extract. What’s more it’s scented with grapefruit and mint oils! The scent of this mask really reminds me of the body shop satsuma range 🍊 one thing I really notice about sheet masks is how refreshing & cooling they are! This mask was packed with the serum (possibly a little too much!) so when I put it on my face it felt super revitalising & energising. This was perfect for the hotter temperatures and I think would also be perfect for long flights. You leave the mask on for 15-20mins and then simply remove. One thing I found was as the sheet was so full of the serum it did slip around a little and I struggled to get it to stay put, but if you were lying back im sure this would not have been a problem. ☆upon removal you can either leave the remaining serum to sink into the skin or wash it off like a face wash. as you can see above, the serum is a lovely gel like texture which is really moisturising. After use my skin defiantly felt much more hydrated and glowing! It didn’t feel in any way greasy or sticky so I think it would be perfect for all skin types. I think for £4 this is a really good mask as you can use the excess serum left in the packet on the following days, in it’s neat form. It made my skin really clean and refreshed, a perfect summer skin fix!
