3/1/2018 0 Comments My style.”fashion is very important. It is life enhancing, and like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well.” fashion - a way of saying who you are without having to speak. Fashion has always been a passion of mine - I love how a single item can portray so much. In this post I’ll share my style for Autumn/winter and spring/summer. ☆ if asked to describe my style I’m not sure what I’d say. I love Minimalist,Normcore,Smart casual or Street style - The aim is to look classy & sophisticated - not sure if it works or not! I love to take inspiration from parisian influences and the likes of chanel, Monroe & Hepburn. A lot of my outfit idea come from Pinterest so below I have collated some of my favourite looks. ➷ A/w styleKEY COLOURS: black, camel, grey, navy., charchol. Autumn/winter is by far my favourite time of year for fashion. With endless options for layering and big cozy jumpers I really love creating outfits at this time. My essential pieces are: coats.you can never have too many coats. They make an outfit! Especially camel, grey and black. I love boyfriend style coats - the masculine cut can look really chic. Paired with a very simple top and necklace you’re all set to hit the streets. If it’s really cold I love to pair with a grey or Burberry print scarf. ☆ teddy/faux fur Jacketsfor a look that appears to have taken a lot of effort I love to reach for a faux fur or teddy style jacket. Sticking to the more neutral tones paired with a matching jumper and hoop earrings I feel this looks effortlessly elegant. ♡ Basic jumperswith good basics you’ll have endless options. A good quality jumper opens so many doors. Layered over a white top and paired with a gold necklace or opting for a 1/4 zip - jumpers are a staple piece in my autumn wardrobe. I especially love oversized pieces which you can really layer up. ☆ polo necksnot only do polo necks look super stylish but the also keep you so warm during the colder months. I love to layer with silver or gold necklaces and pair with a matching coat. They also look really nice under slip dresses ♡ S/s styleKey colours: white, blush pink, grey, powder blue. Spring and summer creates so many new outfit opportunities! For me this season is all about the light tones & keeping it minimal. White stYleI love the look of white clothing. It’s so clean & crisp - especially in summer! White blouse material looks really chic and little effort is needed to create a stylish outfit. Paired with a dainty gold necklace I feel my summer style is secure. ☆ Cami tops / slip drEsSescami tops & slip dresses are a go to for me during s/s. I think they look really elegant and can be dressed up or down. As it’s never really warm enough to wear them alone - pairing them with an oversized cardigan is a go too look. ♡ Printed tshirtsA printed tshirt is a staple. Fashion is a form of self expression and I feel you can really show this through a printed tshirt. I particularly like white tshirts as they’re so versatile! ☆ lacei love lace all year round but I feel in s/s you can really show it off. Lace looks really elegant and can easily be dressed up. For colder days I like to pair with a grey cardigan. ☆ ”you can have anything you want In life, as long as you dress for it.” i hope you enjoyed this fashion based post, I really enjoyed creating it. I’d love to know if you want more fashion posts on my blog ♡
