29/12/2018 0 Comments My best finds of 20182018 has been a great year for me in terms of finding new products that I can honestly say I love. I can’t believe I lived without many of these! I’ve complied a list of my absolute best finds of the year, but honestly I could go on! ↷ maybelline clay Crush lipstickI though Mac velvet teddy would be the one lipstick I bought again and again, but this year they put the prices of their lipstick up, and I just couldn’t justify it, so I went out on a hunt for the perfect dupe, and I found it in the form of maybellines matte lipstick in the shade clay crush. It’s practically identical to velvet teddy, and lasts just as long, if not longer! It’s a lovely creamy formula & glides on really well to the lips. Considering I could get 3 of these lipsticks for the price of 1 Mac one - I defiantly think I’ve found a winner! isle of paradise tanning waterthis was my product of the summer, and I can’t believe I ever thought of tanning without it! It’s the most convenient , easy way to tan, with no streaks, mess, drying time or smell. You literally just spray and massage In with a tanning mit, leave for a few hours, and then voila! A gorgeous golden glow! The isle of paradise tan comes In 3 shades, and I’ve only tried light, but for me I find it the perfect natural level of sunkissed skin. I’m so glad I decided to try this, this year - I’ll never use anything else to tan! caudalie vinopure rangeits not often you find a product that you can say changed your life. And I know that may sound dramatic or exaggerated, but the condition of my skin was really getting me down, to the point of me considering medical treatment. However on a visit to Paris, I came across a trial kit of the Caudalie vinopure range, that includes a toner, serum and moisturiser. After the 2 weeks staged, I saw a significant decrease in the angry nature of my skin, and no new breakouts. I loved it so much I bough the full size of the toner and serum, and have used them everyday. They’ve worked Such wonders that is actually now say I have pretty clear skin, and I never ever thought I’d say that about myself! It’s sometimes worth spending a little extra on something, especially if it provides you with confidence, literary in your own skin ♡ chanel n°5 red editionaa if I could pass up the opportunity to own this piece of Chanel history, Chanel red edition is simply perfect. The only time they will ever tamper with the Chanel bottle, this is an iconic part of Chanel’s range, and I’m so glad I bought it. “Red, because “it is the color of life, of blood”, as Gabrielle Chanel said. Red because it pemirts, when used as the lining of a purse, a quick find of what one is looking for. Red because, worn on the lips, it became Gabrielle’s signature and her declaration of good spirit. “If you’re sad, add more lipstick and attack. Men hate women who weep”, Mademoiselle asserted.” dr botanicals japanese orange moisturiserin 2018 I’ve been lucky enough to work with the brand DR botanicals, I’m sure you’ve heard me speak of them! They kindly let me pick a product to review, and j chose the Japanese orange moisturiser- I’m so glad I did as it’s become one of my favourite all time moisturisers! Not only is the packaging beautiful and so unique, but the product itself sinks into the skin so effortlessly, and isn’t greasy or heavy at all. It smells amazing too! I’d recommend this moisturiser for all skin types, even the most sensitive of skin types would love this! Caudalie vinosource moisture sorbetcaudalie has probably become my favourite skincare brand ever! And defiantly my best brand discovery of 2018. Another of their products I love, is the vinosource moisture sorbet. I just love the sorbet like texture, which basically means the gel like consistency, it makes it so cooling and soothing on the skin. Whenever I had a bad skin day, I’d always use this at the end of the day, as i found it very calming. It also really boosts your moisture levels, and you can really feel an improvement in your skins texture! I basically live for French skincare! nuxe fragrance wateri love to discover new fragrances, and I found this one totally unexpectedly whilst in Italy! By simply spraying the tester I knew I had to have it! It’s the most unique scent, I can’t even describe it! But I can say it screams summer! It has notes of orange and petigrain, coconut and tiare, and vanilla and musk. Being only a ‘fragrance water’ this lasts SO long! I can smell it on my clothes for weeks after! You can use it on hair, clothes and of course the body. I encourage everyone to go try this out! laura gellEr gelato highlighterand to finish off the year with some sparkle, I’ve loved Laura gellers baked gelato highlighter in the shade gilded honey. It’s not often I use highlight, but after discovering this in a look fantastic beauty box, I’ve been hooked! It’s the most gorgeous golden colour, but isn’t too glittery or shimmery that it looks fake and overpowering. The colour is so lovely and would suit most skin tones! My favourite part is probably the texture - it’s really buttery and glides onto the skin! I don’t think I’ll ever reach for another highlight! there have been many more amazing products I’ve discovered in 2018, but these have been my top! I’d love to know what other people have discovered!
