Before j start this review I want to share the truth- I'm literally the least Bath loving person out there! I could list all the reasons why but it would be a long blog post! . Equally I didn't actually buy this Bath bomb to use as a bath bomb- I bought it for a photography element of my fine art course - but turns out it was a pretty magical product! This week I'll share my thoughts. ☆ i needed to take photos of swirly coloured liquid - and I instantly thought: LUSH! I've never been a huge lush fan - I think I've had a bar of soap and a shower jelly but that's about it. I'm just not too keen on the scents and find some of the products to be quite messy however they're cerainly innovative! After some deliberation I chose this bath bomb for my project thinking it would create the colours I was needing. Although I didn't physically get in the bath with this product I still quite like it! initially I wasn't too keen on the scent. That classic lush scent just doesn't really appeal to me so I suppose I wasn't set up for loving this! However after putting it into the water my opinions quickly changed. The whole room was filled with a lovely minty fragrance that smelt very natural and calming. I had my hand in the water for some time, and I found my skin smelt lovely even hours later. I also found this bath bomb to be very softening and I think would do a great job at moisturising your whole body. the fizz of the bath bomb lasted a long time and made me feel better about spending £4.50 on something that will literally go down the drain! After it had fizzled out there were things that sounded like popping candy that continued to pop. Lush certainly create fun and creative products. ☆ shades of pink blue and yellow were primarily what colours were given off. The bath looked incredibly pretty and very photogenic. once the majority of the action had settled down I was left with gorgeous glittery blue water. (I added the stars myself for my photography) Anything glittery is a yes from me ☆ However the bath was caked in glitter once I'd drained it so this is something to consider! overall- would I buy again? Probably not. It’s a bit too expensive for my liking and I don’t think I’d have any use for the product. However I do love lush’s ethics and I think they’re a very lovely brand. ☆
