I feel I haven’t done a fragrance review in a while, and having just discovered my new found love - l’occitanes néroli and orchidée EDP - I thought it was about due time I did one! I discovered this perfume, actually by giving it as a gift to someone else, as part of a gift set. I then spent the following weeks asking them what perfume they were wearing, turns out it was this! So I just had to pick up a bottle myself! If you’re looking for a new spring / summer frangeance, this is most defiantly one for you! starting with the packaging, it’s so incredibly chic and French! I love the square cut glass, and gold cap. It looks really sleek and stylish on my vanity! I also love how they’ve kept the Bottle transparent, so you can see how much perfume you’ve got left! What’s more, there’s an adorable little pink ribbon around the neck of the bottle, I think This is an adorable little touch! Now onto the fragrance! It’s described as: “The fresh floral scent of hand-gathered white blossom flowers and white orchids intertwines with the ripe aroma of citrus and stone fruits in the Néroli & Orchidée Eau De Toilette to create a seductive yet somehow innocent aroma” within the perfume, essential oils are used, to create a gorgeous long lasting fragrance. Floral and fruity essential oils, make up the delicate notes of mandarin and orange, and the fresh notes of white musk, lily of the valley and iris.
What I really loved about this fragrance, is how modern the floral notes are, as they can typically be quite mundane. However this perfume is so fresh and exciting! It has so many layers, and lasts for SO long on the skin! It’s one of the only perfumes I can actually smell on myself! It’s undoubtedly feminine, romantic and sophisticated . If this is what l’occitane perfumes are to go by, then I certainly need to try more out! Let me know if you’ve tried any! ❀ Zoë x
