14/4/2019 0 Comments Illamasqua hydraveil primer reviewI’ve tried a few illamasqua products in the past, and feel they’re a brand that’s not talked about enough! In this post I’ll be sharing my thoughts on their hydra veil primer - a really unique part hydrator, part primer product! starting with the packaging, I think this is a really unique design! The primer comes in a black pot with screw lid. The full size version comes with a little applicator too. I really like this design, as it allows you to get all the product out the pot, without wastage, and it also feels a lot more luxurious! You only need a tiny bit, per application, so I think even this small travel size pot, will last me a while! it’s very hard to capture the texture of this primer on camera, but it’s like a springy jelly that bounces back when you touch it! It’s pretty cool! Once you begin to rub it into the skin, it becomes much lighter and fluid in texture, and creates a really good tacky base for makeup. What’s more, this primer is enriched with microalage and vitamin C and B3, along with plant extracts that calm and comfort the skin. The clear gel forumula is really hydrating and I have noticed my skin looks a lot smoother and feels a lot softer after use! I wouldn’t say this primer ‘blurs’ the skin as other primers would, but then again, it also doesn’t claim too, so I can’t be too disappointed! It’s a really good primer for dryer skin!
Let me know if you’ve tried this primer - id love to hear your thoughts! Zoë x
