20/8/2017 0 Comments Drugstore dupes ☆I love beauty products but I hate how expensive they can be! If there's ever a drugstore alternative I will always go for it. Here's a collection of my favourite drugstore dupes. ☆ Anastasia dipbrow~maybelline colour tattooanastasia - £15 Maybelline - £5.99 Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade is probably one of the most popular brow products out there. However £15 for a small pot is a little on the pricey side. Instead I have been using maybellines colour tattoo gel eye cream in the shade 'permanent taupe'. It's the perfect dupe for the blonde shade in the dipbrow range. I actually prefer the maybelline version as it doesn't dry out and in my opinion has better staying power. The only downside is there's only one shade in the collection that you could use on you eyebrows (as it is actually cream eyeshadow) so this could be limiting to a few people. But if you have blonde to light brown hair - this is a perfect dupe. ☆ Estee lauder double wear foundation ~ revlon colourstaY.estee Lauder - 30ml £32.50 Revlon - 30ml £12.99 A year or so ago I tried the Estée Lauder double wear foundation after countless reccomendations. Although it is amazing and stays in place all day & night I just couldn't justify that amount of money! Revlons colourstay foundation has the same staying power for a much more affordable price. It has become my holy grail foundation and does not budge all day. Would defiantly choose to purchase this over double wear. ♡ Benefit BenetiNt/higHbeam ~ w7 hint of bali/night glow.benetint-£25.50 A hint of Bali-£6.95 Highbeam-£21.50 Night glow-£5.95 I can't say I've ever tried the benefit versions of this lip & cheekstain or highlighter, simply because the W7 ones are such close dupes for so much cheaper! The packaging on the w7 products is practically identical to the benefit ones, which I think is a key indicator that they're trying to replicate the product. The quality of the w7 products is very good and I would defiantly reccomend. ☆ Chanel tan de soleil ~ bourJois bronzing primer.chanel - £36 Bourjois- £9.99 As much as I love Chanel, it seems silly to but something identical for almost 4x the price! Infact bourjois is owned by Chanel and all their products are made in the same factory so its most likely the exact same product just with different branding. Such a lovely cream bronzer that's so blendable and buildable perfect for lighter skin. benefit roller lash ~ maybelline lash sEnsational.benfit rollerlash (full size) - £20.50 Maybelline lash Sensational- £8.99 I love benefits rollerlash mascara. ♡ It's so lengthening and volumising without being clumpy. However I have heard maybellines lash sensational is just as good! I have not yet tried it out but I have looked at the wand and it's pretty much identical. It's at the top of my beauty wish list & I hope yo try it out soon! liz earLe cleanse and polish - superdrug hot cloth cleanser.liz Earle cleanse & polish 100ml (no cloth) £14.50 Superdrug hot cloth cleanser 150ml (with cloth) £5.99 Really it's a no brainer with these 2! You get more product in the Superdrug version & a Muslin cloth included for less than half the price of the high end version. Both the Liz Earle cleanser & the Superdrug one remove makeup making you skin feel fresh & soft. If you want to try out this method of cleansing I would reccomend the Superdrug version if you want to save money. ☆ UrBan decay primer potion-eSsence colour INTENSIFYING eyeshadow base.urban decay primer (full size) - £19 Essence primer- £2.50 Can there really be any difference between eyeshadow primers?! Personally I'd rather spend less as nobody's going to see it anyway once you apply your eyeshadow. I have been using this essence eye base for the past month and it has been the perfect thing to prepare my eyelids with. ☆ Urban decay heavy Metals glitter liner - cOllection glam crystals liner.urban decay- £15 Collection - £2.99 Both these liners are full of sparkle. Part of my makeup collection I don't use on a daily basis I'd prefer to save rather than splurge. The collection glam crystal liners are a perfect dupe to the heavy metals. They also have a wide colour range too ♡ mac velvet teddy - mua fawn fancyMAC-£15.50 MUA-£1 MACs velvet teddy is probably one of their most poplular lipsticks. It's a gorgeous brown/nude colour that looks so pretty and natural. It's my everyday lip colour, but because of this it runs out pretty quickly. Although I do love the lipstick I don't really want to be paying £15.50 for it. So I set myself the challenge of finding a duplicate shade for less money. This is when I came across MUAs matte lipstick in fancy fawn for only £1! The shades are practically identical making this the perfect alternative. admittedly the MAC lipstick does have better staying power but really at £1 I think a reapplication through the day is okay! urban decay naked palEttes - makeup revolUtion redemption iconic paLettes. .naked palettes- £39.50 each Redemption palettes- £4 each These palettes by makeup revolution are an obvious dupe for urban decays iconic naked palettes. The revolution ones come in shades 1,2&3 - done to correlate to the naked palette numbers. The shades are identical and have a lot bigger pans in the revolution palettes. They're very pigmented and stay on the lid all day. If you want to save £35.50 then defiantly give the redemption iconic palettes a go. ♡ Chanel n°5 - suddenly woman 1.chanel 50ml - £74 Suddenly woman 1 - £4.99 Part of me is hesitant to share this dupe! Chanel n°5 is such a timeless classic but it comes with a big price tag. I love the scent and found this perfume that smells the exact same! Called suddenly woman 1 it comes from Lidl and is only £4.99. People often ask me if I'm wearing n°5 when I have this perfume on. The match is so close and it lasts honestly for so long too. At this price it's affordable enough to be an everyday perfume and I think I have about 7 bottles around my house! It's a difficult one to get your hands on as it's so popular after being showcased on the news & tv , but if you love Chanel perfume, there's no doubt you won't love this. i hope this blog post has given you ideas on what products you could try and save on. if you try any of my swaps, let me know - I'd love to hear ♡
