10/7/2017 0 Comments DiY summer style Phone caSEsi think it's always nice to make something yourself rather than buy it. Not only do you save money but you also occasionally feel a nice sense of achievement. ♡ phone cases are an easy thing to make yourself for very little cost, and you can produce unique pieces that are personal to you. In this post I'm sharing 2 ways to create pretty phone cases - perfect for summer. ☼ 1. Lemon blossom caseto be honest you can use any print you like for this case. It's simply the process that achieves the results - any design will work. I have chosen lemon blossom as to me it just looks so summery and I also feel yellow compliments the pink from my phone. To create this case.... you will need•scissors • a clear phone case •a printer step 1print your imageyou can do this one of 2 ways. You can simply find a print you like and print it out to the size of your phone, or like I did - find an image of a phone case on a phone and print this out. That way it gives you an idea of what it will look like along with composition ideas. You want to make sure that the image you print out is round about the same size as your phone. This may take a few attempts but it's roughly 1/4 of an A4 page. step 2cut out the printthe more precise you are with this step the better the outcome. You want to cut out each section of the print, making sure you cut out any spaces for buttons or camera lens. It's easier if the background of your image is the same as your phone - that way you can afford to be a little less neat! step 3assemble you want to arrange your pieces onto your phone. And finally put On the clear case to keep everything in place! I really like this case and how versatile it is! Anything goes ♡ 2. pRessed flowersthis case is so pretty and delicate. It can be made for a fraction of the price of what it costs in the shops and you can customise to whatever style you like ❀ to make it.... you Will need•a flower press. If you don't have one you can always use a pile of heavy books •flowers • a clear phone case •optional - glitter / sequins step 1press your Flowersonce you have collected your flowers you need to press them to remove the moisture and flatten them so they fit in the case. This will take a few days. If you don't have a flower press you can layer your flowers under some heavy books and keep them in a warm dry place. step 2ArraNgeits easier to arrange your flowers into the case fist then put the phone in backwards on top ♡ (optional) step 3add glitter!if you like sparkle you can always add in glitter / sequins. It looks lovely when it catches the light and adds a little something extra ☆ i hope you enjoyed this weeks blog post ❀ if you recreate any of the cases I'd love to see! Zoë x
