16/2/2017 0 Comments Chanel lipstick reviEwas part of my 18th birthday I was surprised with a makeover at Chanel and the chance to purchase one of the products used! After long deliberation I chose a lipstick in the rogue allure range - called 'Libre'. It's one from their matte collection and is a beautiful pink toned nude. the packagingone of the most desired qualities of Chanel products is the sleek classy packaging. This lipstick does not disappoint. The quality is amazing and feels like it's made of very good material - perfect for traveling - to avoid breakages. The iconic Chanel typeface is along the bottom of the packaging - and I really think in this case the minimalism works so well. Im not going to pretend that I wasn't puzzled as how to open rhis tube! It doesn't have the typically split in the middle that you remove to wind up the lipstick itself. Instead you push the gold square at the top which then springs back and reveals the product. It's hard to describe but it honestly just makes the product feel so luxurious! And who doesn't want a double C On their vanity? the shadelibre is a muted rose / nude - with warm undertones. it would suit many skin tones in my opinion, and has a lovely opaque finish. the bullet is embossed with "chanel" which makes it all the more special. The lipstick is very comfortable to wear and lasted a good few hours. However I wouldn't say Its completly matte so I would reccomend using a lipcote to really lock on the colour. The lipstick retails for £28 which is defiantly on the pricey side. If I had not been gifted this I doubt I would have been able to buy it but as a chanel lover I feel I'd probably justify it somehow - even if it was simply for the packaging! I really enjoyed my chanel makeover and loved trying out some of their makeup products. have you tired out any chanel products? What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
