Appreciate the little thingslife doesn’t stop for anyone and it’s so easy to focus on all that’s going wrong. Taking the time to appreciate the smaller things in life like the flowers that come out in spring of the sound of the rain against the window, really helps keep you grounded. 2. You can Never have too Many coatsif this post was titled 1 thing I’ve learnt in 19 years this would be it! you really cannot have too many coats - they provide so many outfit opportunities ! In 19 years I’ve collected my fair share of them but I’d defiantly say there’s still room and a need for more! 3. Be kind.kindness goes such along way. Even if you feel kindness isn’t given back - knowing you did your best is surely a good feeling. However know your boundaries and don’t let yourself be pushed around. ♡ 4. Live how You want.ive had my fair share of people telling me how to live my life. Especially in my high school years this was a very common issue. But those people telling you, you shouldn’t dress a certain way, do your makeup this way and your hair that - well it’s them that has the problem! I know it’s cliche but living your life for you how you want will bring you the most happiness. 5. Paris is most defInatly a good iDea!What can I say! Take me to Paris and I’ll love you forever. Audrey Hepburn really knew what she was talking about when she said the famous line ☆ 6. Winged eyeliner cannot be Mastered in an evening.i probably learnt this the hard way but a few years on I wear it everyday - there’s hope! Find what formula works for you and most of all: practice! 7. Its okay to hAve A few FRiends rather than alot.ii think when we’re younger it’s believed that having lots of friends makes you a better person. As I’ve grown older, I’m sure as many have realised, all you need is a few loyal friends who will be there for you no matter what. Popularity means nothing. ♡ 8. Outfit planning the night beFore is a life saver.i don’t know how I got through life not doing this! Planning your outfit the night before is so much less stressful and also allows you to really think through what you’re going to wear! 9. Less is More.i find this to be true in most aspects of life. De cluttering your life will de clutter your mind. Living a minimalist life is so much more freeing and authentic. 10. If they wanted to they wouLd have.make of this what you will, but don’t spend your life chasing after people who wouldn’t do the same for you. ♡ 11. Worrying really doesnt get you anywherethe amount of things I’ve worried over, the last 19 years is ridiculous. But I’ve come to realise that worrying won’t change the outcome and just puts myself under even more stress. Sure sometimes worrying is uncontrollable but worrying about things that have already happened will just make life harder! 12. You can never go wrong with A little black dresssimple as that! It’s a timeless classic. ♡ 13. Never disRegard charity shops for fashion finds!i have found the most amazing things in charity shops for amazing prices. For example a Tiffany necklace for £2.50. Yes A TIFFANY NECKLACE FOR £2.50! And it’s 100% genuine. I’ve also found faux fur jackets, & other stories jumpers, Gucci watch dupes etc and you’re also helping to support causes that really need your support ♡ 14. Its okay to need help.this can be in any aspect of life. Your mental health, a school / work project, a simple decision. If you need help ask for it. I know it’s not that easy but I’ve spent years never admitting that I might need help with certain things. Only now am I beginning to realise hiding from the problem only makes it worse. 15. Life isnt meant to be lived in One placeTravel as much and as often as you can afford. There’s so much more to the world than your own. 16. Theres no rushtheres no rush to grow up. Everyone nowerdays seems to learn to drive as soon as they turn the right age, or feels they have to go to uni at 18 etc. There are no set rules so don’t ever feel pressured. ♡ really a slow and steady life at your own pace is going to be much more sustainable and provide you with the greatest comfort. ♡ 17. Its Okay to say no.this is something I’m still working on - but it’s okay to say “no.” You do not need to justify yourself - “no” is a complete sentence. If you are not comfortable with something or you don’t agree have the courage to stand up and disagree. ☆ 18. Be more creative.wether this be art, music, dance- find your passion and let it take you places. For me art has been such a perfect way to escape. Creativity helps you develop your own thoughts and express them in ways you never thought possible. ☆ 19. WhAteVer life plants you, bloom with gracE.life hasn’t been the easiest of ventures. But I intend to use my experiences to help me develop and grow as a person. Accept what Is and letting it shape you for the better. ❀ I still have a lot to learn and that’s okay. Hopefully others will be able to relate to some of these things I’ve learnt. ♡ Thank you for reading Zoë x
