Dr botanicals lemon rescue butter review

Picture
”when life gives you lemons...nourish your skin!”

I was so excited when this dr botanicals lemon superfood all in one rescue butter, arrived on my doorstep! Lemon is my all time favourite scent, and I just love dr botanicals!

I couldn’t wait to try out and share my thoughts, so without further ado - here’s what the new lemon butter is like! 🍋

the packaging is super sleek and uniform, and fits in so well with the other dr botanicals apothecary collection! I love the tube style packaging, as it makes it so easy to dispense and also to pop in your bag! You get 50ml which is so generous and will last a long time!

Onto the product itself! This multipurpose balm can be used on the face and body to relived dry skin and bring life back into tired and dull areas. The formula is 96% natural and totally vegan and cruelty free!

The first most noticeable thing is the scent, it smells like heaven! Imagine an Italian summer with limoncello and sunshine, that’s how this balm smells!

the formula is so lovely, it’s so rich, yet sinks into the skin in seconds. I’ve used it on my face, lips and hands, and it works so well on all of them! Packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants this balm really does work wonders. The 5 main active ingredients include:

•lemongrass oil - know for healing and antifungal properites, this also helps soothe and replenish the skin.
• coconut oil - rich in fatty acids this really helps thoroughly moisturise the skin, providing a true glow from within!
•almond oil - this is full of vitamin E and A, fatty acids and minerals, it really helps the butter penetrate the skin giving it maximum nourishment.
• grapeseed oil - packed with omega 6 and vitamin E, this oil review dry and dull skin.
• seabuckthorn fruit oil - a natural cleanser and exfoliator, this magic oil can also heal burns, cuts, rashes etc!

overall I’ve found this balm to be really nourishing and soothing, and of course, it smells wonderful! It can even be used as a dewy primer, so it really is a multipurpose product! I think this will be a great summer staple, and defiantly something I’ll be bringing on my travels!

You too can try this balm, and get 20% off it, and anything else on the dr botanicals site with the code ‘ZOEM20’ ! I’ve reviewed many other dr botanicals products on my blog before, if you fancy a read, I really recommend the Japanese orange moisturiser too!

Thank you to dr botanicals for surprising me with this, I think you can tell how much I love it! 🍋
